My stay at Siberia Bar & Hotel was a mix of ups and downs. While the location is fantastic—right in the heart of Aberdeen—there were considerable challenges. Climbing steep stairs with my luggage was a hefty task, especially given my knee issues, and I found the bed uncomfortable. However, I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff, who made my experience a bit brighter.

Rooms

The room was clean but cramped, lacking basic amenities like a kettle or Wi-Fi. Although it had a jacuzzi bath, the bed was too hard for my comfort.
Service

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially when I needed assistance at check-in. However, there were some delays in getting access to my room.
Location
5.0
The hotel’s central location is perfect for exploring Aberdeen, with shops and nightlife just steps away. However, the noise from the nearby disco was quite disruptive at night.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast offered a limited continental selection, which was a bit disappointing as I was hoping for more variety. The quality was acceptable though.
Facilities

While the facilities were basic, I did enjoy the jacuzzi bath in my room. It was disappointing that the advertised spa bath wasn't functional during my stay.

I had a mixed experience at Siberia Bar & Hotel. The central location and overall cleanliness of the hotel were impressive, and I enjoyed the spa bath in my room. However, the noise from nearby nightlife was quite disruptive, particularly during the weekend. Additionally, the firmness of the bed may not be to everyone's preference.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was modern and clean, featuring a fantastic spa bath that added a touch of luxury. However, the bed was quite firm, which may not suit all guests.

The hotel’s location is fantastic, situated conveniently near a variety of shops, cafes, and bars, making it easy to explore the area. However, the proximity to nightlife can lead to noise that might disrupt a peaceful evening.
Dining

I appreciated the breakfast offerings, which had a decent variety, though having more hot options would have improved the experience further. The bar area also had a good atmosphere and friendly service.
Facilities

The hotel had a range of facilities, including room service and a communal coffee area that I found very useful. However, some areas could benefit from better signage and organization.

Siberia Bar & Hotel was a mix of comfort and inconvenience during my stay. While the bed was immensely comfortable and the communal coffee area was a big plus, the noise levels from the bar above were a bit disruptive. The breakfast options were decent, but the overall experience felt slightly marred by the need for better soundproofing.

Rooms
6.0
My room, while cozy, was on the smaller side and comforted me with a comfy bed. However, the noise isolation could definitely be improved, as the sounds from the bar above seeped through quite a bit. Additionally, I did notice a bit of yellow water during my shower, which was concerning.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home. However, there were instances where they seemed more focused on hanging around rather than being present for guests, particularly regarding the breakfast situation. I had to navigate things on my own.
Location
8.0
Being right in the heart of the city was certainly a perk for accessing nearby attractions and nightlife. However, it also meant dealing with a fair amount of noise, especially on weekends.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast was a self-service continental spread, which included decent options. but it could have used a more attentive staff presence to maintain the area.
Facilities
7.0
The availability of a coffee machine in the communal area was a good touch, and I appreciated the overall cleanliness of the hotel. However, the low lighting in the basement level lacked natural light, which made for a slightly gloomy atmosphere.

I had an very nice stay at Siberia Bar & Hotel, particularly during the hen party I organized. The staff, especially Scott, were incredibly accommodating, arranging meals and making sure we had everything we needed. though my room was quite small and I struggled with some noise from the bar above. Overall, the welcoming atmosphere and helpful service definitely outweighed the drawbacks.

My stay at Siberia Bar & Hotel was a mixed experience. While the location was fantastic and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, I faced multiple issues with the room's comfort and functionality. The noise from the bar overhead and the lack of effective air conditioning made for an uncomfortable night, but the cleanliness and quality of dining were bright spots during my visit.
